I have started writing for examiner.com.  I will be covering local writers, books and writing events.  Don’t worry all, there will still be plenty of time for tom foolery on Uncle Danny’s Blog.

No More Currency Conversion on XBOX 360?

1600=$20 Do I need a passport?

Whether you like it or hate it, Xbox live is going through major changes right now.  From the addition of avatars a few years back to the new dashboard that is full of “where the hell is everything now?”, Xbox has been anything but static.  Now there are rumors that they might do away with the Microsoft points all together.

Instead, they want to do what they should have done from the beginning.  ACTUAL CURRENCY!!!

Want to buy something that’s $5.00, well that will be $5.00!  Want to buy a game for £5.00, £5.00!  Jolly brilliant!  No more 480 points = $6.00, no more 433600 points = $5420 (for you die hard gamers).  This has not been confirmed by Microsoft yet, but it would be in their best interest.  I mean really, what would you rather have as the next addition to XBox Live?  A currency system that makes sense or a house for your avatar where you can buy furniture.  I mean how lame would that be…oh, wait.

PS3 Virtual Home...Wow now my avatar is doing what I am doing! That's so...lame.
